The Challenge

The global COVID-19 Crisis brought serious challenges for the business and imposed the need for fast adaptation of the strategy and/or the business model in a situation of uncertainty. Companies like Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, however, managed to react in a swift and agile manner, transforming the risks from the crisis into benefits for their own development.

The Solution

In April 2020, the Pharmaceuticals Division of Bayer Bulgaria EOOD selected Next Consult as its partner for the management of a major internal project of strategic importance. Next Consult acted as Project Manager of a cross-functional team of senior managers in order to define innovative solutions and optimal positioning post-COVID-19. The role of the consultant included planning and organization of the project, provision of methodologies and guidelines for work, review of all deliverables, and provision of feedback to the management team.

The project was remarkable with its entirely remote way of work through a series of workshops, during which the team demonstrated impressive effectiveness and creative thinking.

The Results

As a result of the project, the Pharmaceuticals Division of the company is prepared to face boldly the pandemic challenges with an innovative market positioning, optimized internal organization, and a team, more cohesive and engaged than ever.
